The Wyoming Small Business Development Center provides free and confidential assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. We work together with local chambers of commerce, economic development and partners at the state and federal level to help businesses receive the help they need to succeed whether you are starting a business, growing one, buying one or just trying to do better with what you have. Services include Market Research Center, Procurement & Tech Center and SBIR/STTR

Jim Drever is the Regional Director with the Wyoming Small Business Development Center serving Albany and Carbon Counties with a variety of different cost-free business advising topics, training and resources.  The Wyoming SBDC is funded in part by the US Small Business Administration with matching funds from the Wyoming Business Council and housed at the University of Wyoming.  Jim has worked with hundreds of businesses in the region from starting a business to selling it in a variety of industries in a wild variety of topics, as that is what our great business culture needs.  Jim is also one of a few Certified Ethical Hackers in the state, bringing additional cybersecurity assistance to local businesses at no cost.
