Tuesday Talks 2026

Justin Horn grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming. He has a degree in history from UW, a masters in history from Nebraska, and a masters cert in museum studies from Harvard. He served in the US Air Force as a meteorologist, stationed with the B1 Bombers at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota and deployed to overseas locations in Qatar and Guam. He has worked for the National Park Service at Fort Laramie National Historic Site, WY and at the Rockpile Museum in Gillette, WY. He has several published articles; including Great Plains Quarterly's article of the year for 2021, and several publications on WyoHistory.org and Annals of Wyoming. He has given historical presentations on "The Murder of Allie Means," "Battle of Bonepile Creek," and "The Explorations of Lt. G.K. Warren." Justin is a devout Christian, and he enjoys hiking in the mountains, kayaking, and riding his motorcycle.
Justin will be talking about the Fort Laramie National Historic Site and the future plans for the Saratoga Museum.
