Celebrating 250-Multiple events and presentations throughout the day to celebrate our nation's semi-sesquicentennial, including Lander filmmaker, Sophie Barksdale showing her latest film, "Crossing the Threshold" and a presentation by Wyoming Supreme Court Justice, Bridget Hill. Justice Hill grew up in the Upper North Platte Valley. "Crossing the Threshold" explores the post-service experiences of Veterans in rural Wyoming.
Also presenting the film "Land of Abundance: Native Lifeways of the Grand Encampment" a short film produced by Grand Encampment Museum about the American Indian history of the Upper North Platte Valley.
"Journeys to 250", a short film produced by the Carbon County 250 Committee to celebrate the 250 years of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The film was funded by Discover Carbon County
