Independence Day Celebration-Carbon County's Big Event!
Join the gang together and enter a float in the old-fashioned parade; complete with patriotic music, candy, vintage cars, political candidates, horses and lots of fun! The fun continues all afternoon, with great eats, fine arts and other various crafts and vendors. Fireworks will be fired from Saratoga's Old Baldy Club at dusk.
FRIDAY, JULY 3
8:00 am – 3:00 pm National Fish Hatchery Tours
The Hatchery is 100 years old and is celebrating with tours of their facility north of Saratoga. See how they breed and hatch brown and rainbow trout fish before stocking area lakes. Tour the new facility for the rearing and breeding of the endangered Wyoming toad for reintroduction into the wild.
3:00 pm - 8:00 pm Kid's Fish
Kids age 12 and under can bring their rods and tackle boxes to the pond at the Saratoga Resort & Spa for a free evening of catching trout. Non-resident kids need to be accompanied by a person with a valid license. Sponsored by the Saratoga Fish Hatchery as part of their 100 year anniversary celebration.

- Saratoga Resort and Spa will have “Captain Redeye and the Rhino Hunters” at the Snowy Mountain Pub. This Americana band delivers an energetic performance that keeps a crowd moving! The band’s sound is often compared with the sounds of Tom Petty, Allman Brothers and Steve Earle.
- Rustic Bar hosts “Danny Roy” until close.

SATURDAY, JULY 4
7:30 am Pancake Breakfast
Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department is providing a free breakfast at the Fire Station on the NW corner of Spring Street and River.
8:00 am Cancer Walk
Saratoga High School Skills USA students have organized this Cancer Walk for the past few years. Honor a friend or family member and register for $20 per person. Registration is held at the town municipal parking lot where the Walk starts. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the local Corbett Medical Foundation.

Local and regional crafters selling their unique wares in downtown Saratoga in the town municipal parking lot.
11:00 am Parade
Dozens of fun floats travel along the highway in downtown Saratoga. The route begins at the south end of town on Walnut Street and continues to Bridge Street and then turns west. Silly costumes, old cars, and rodeo queens are part of this red, white and blue celebration of our beloved USA!
11:30 am Old Fashioned Bake Auction
Live auction of homemade pies, cakes, cookies, bread and other goodies on the corner of Bridge Street downtown immediately after the parade. Proceeds go to the Platte Valley Kiwanis Club for their community projects!
10:00 am-4:00 pm A Celebration of Custom & Culture
Journey back in time. Come enjoy historical demonstrations of blacksmithing, tipi living, Dutch oven cooking, treadle machine demo, and other types of yesteryear daily living activities at the Saratoga Museum across the highway from the airport. 12:00 pm-1:30 pm 67th Army Band
This patriotic brass band will send chills up your spine as they play at the Saratoga Museum Pavilion. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the show in the shade!
12:00 pm-4:00 pm American Legion Car Show
The Legion joins forces with the Platte Valley Car Club for a show following the parade in downtown Saratoga. Custom cars, motorcycles, old farm trucks, 1940’s sedans and so much more will be judged. Cash prizes and dash plaques will be awarded in several categories.
2:00 pm Barbeque downtown at American Legion Park
Everyone is welcome to the Legion Park on Bridge Street next to Lollypop’s. The entire family is invited and there is no charge but donations are welcome. The Legion Family is accepting these donations as a fundraiser for the Staff Sgt. Tyler Picket Memorial Park and their scholarship program.
2:00 pm-6:00 pm TOGIE DAYS-Live Music on Bridge Street
Enjoy free live music downtown Saratoga. Food vendors and a beer garden will be available. Opening shows provided by local acts, Daron Little and Something to Do, followed by country music recording artist Bobby Chitwood. Up-and-coming talent Jessica Andrews will headline. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the afternoon with the entire family!
3:00 pm-5:00 pm Childrens Art Workshop
Free interactive art workshop for elementary-aged children. Glitter, paint, cut, glue, sculpt and create! Workshop will be located at downtown Saratoga and is sponsored by the Platte Valley Arts Council. Be sure to take your finished pieces home with you!
around 9:00 pm Fireworks
Fireworks will be launched in Saratoga courtesy of the Old Baldy Club. One of the best places to watch them is from Kathy Glode Park on Constitution Ave. The Town of Encampment sponsors the fireworks launched from McClure Field.
9:00 to close Live Music
Rustic Bar in downtown Saratoga will host “Harley and the V-Twins” from Greeley.

SUNDAY, JULY 5
8:00 am-10:00 am Breakfast Buffet at the American Legion
Hearty breakfast buffet will be served by the American Legion Post #53 at the post just over the river on Bridge Street. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, country fried steak, sausage gravy, pancakes and more! Proceed go to their scholarship fund.
