Community Drum Circle
Grab your family and friends and join Drum Brothers as they guide us on a rhythmic journey in a community drum circle. We will learn beginning rhythms and explore the techniques and polyrhythmic interplay of West African drumming. This event is for all ages and abilities--everyone is welcome and drums will be available.
In addition to the drum circles, the Drum Brothers will hold three sessions for our Encampment and Saratoga K12 students. They will get a chance to learn about the history of the instruments, how they sound, and even get to play some drums.
Sponsored by Platte Valley Arts Council with funding from the Wyoming Arts Council, and PVAC Patron sponsors: Bear Trap Cafe & Bar, Steven and Susan Dyer, Silver Spur Land & Cattle, and Chuck and Laurie Box.
