Director of Operations & Member Services Hired at Chamber

Chamber hires Director of Operations and Member Services
The Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced the hiring of Gabrielle Johnson as Director of Operations and Member Services. In this role, Johnson will oversee day-to-day Chamber operations, member services, programs, marketing, and community relations. The position is designed as a CEO-track role, with the intent that she may assume the Chief Executive Officer position pending Board approval and demonstrated readiness.
Outgoing Chamber President Amanda Shahadey said, “Gabi is exactly what the committee was looking for. We wanted someone with energy, enthusiasm, and strong ties to the community.”
 
Johnson will graduate from the University of Oklahoma in December 2026 with a degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration and a minor in Human Resources. With her final semester online, she will return to Saratoga to begin the position. Johnson’s family moved to Saratoga in 2020, and she graduated from Saratoga Middle High School in 2023.
 
While in college, Johnson volunteered as a staff assistant with the National Rural Electric Association, worked as a research assistant, and served as outside counsel to the Oklahoma Veterans Association. She also supported the development of the Oklahoma Veterans Foundation—experience that strengthened her interest in nonprofit leadership and community-focused initiatives.
 
Former Chamber CEO Stacy Crimmins has served as interim CEO since January and will train Johnson over the next several months. Crimmins will also serve as contracted Chief Financial Officer for the Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce until the position is opened for proposals.
