''Meet me at the Wolf!'' In Saratoga, Wyoming, the Historic Wolf Hotel and Restaurant is the place where people gather. Some to swap fishing, hunting and snowmobiling adventures. Others to celebrate special occasions. Whether you're here for an overnight or an extended stay, we invite you to join us for fine dining in a convivial atmosphere...or for a glass of wine or other beverage in our Saloon.
Located in the downtown Saratoga, the Wolf is within walking distance to shopping, the ''Hobo Hot Springs Pool'', and the Upper North Platte River. Fishing, floating, hiking, hunting, skiing and snowmobiling are a short drive from Saratoga in the Medicine Bow National Forest, the Snowy Range and the Sierra Madre Range.
The Hotel Wolf was built by German immigrant, Frederick G. Wolf, for $6,000 in 1893. This two-and-a-half story Victorian-style structure has since been the anchor for downtown Saratoga. Hotel Wolf is still known for its long-standing reputation for ''fine food and convivial atmosphere''.
In the early 1970's the Hotel Wolf became listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since then, the rooms have been remodeled to honor their original charm. The Georgia pine in the saloon has been completely stripped and refinished to its original state as well. After painstaking restoration, Hotel Wolf appears much as it did on its opening day and stands ready to graciously serve your needs.
