As a self-proclaimed songwriting ambassador of the American West, Jared Rogerson’s musical approach crosses boundaries of neighboring country, Americana, western and traditional folk genres. His inspiration draws from countless miles traversing rugged mountains atop broke saddle horses, along with the many years he devoted to riding wild bareback bronc’s for pay at rodeos. Respect for both tame and unruly is underlined in his lyrics depicting contemporary themes of love, heartbreak, determination and defiance from the perspective of one thriving in midst of an ever changing West. With four albums under his belt and nearly a decade on the road, Jared has pleased audiences across 11 states and on two continents. He engages his listeners on a personal level, taking them for an energy-packed ride full of original songs and the stories that inspired them. Jared makes his home in Pinedale, Wyoming with his wife and two children.
