Good Times Valley Independence Day Party
An old-fashioned celebration?including live music, an art show, barbeques, golf tournament, car show, reunions, a parade and kids activities! The traditional Independence Day parade wanders through downtown Saratoga beginning at 11 am July 4 and includes vintage cars, silly costumes, fire trucks and political candidates. The best part of the Independence Day begins at dusk with a fantastic fireworks display - fun for the entire family! The Platte Valley Festival of the Arts is on Saturday and Sunday at the PVCC. Toga Days features live music with "Rimrock", "Bakerville" and "Chancey Williams & The Younger Brothers Band".

Friday, June 28
7:00pm- Platte River Rodeo Association Rodeo at Buck Springs Arena
Featuring barrel racing, bronc riding, team roping, steer wrestling and bull riding. Kids activities include mutton bustin, and boot races. Admission is $7, kids under 7 are free
Saturday, June 29
10:00 am-Saratoga Museum History Trek at Saratoga Museum
Join tour guide Dick Perue for a tour of cemeteries?from boot hill to paradise. Meet at Museum at 104 Constitution Ave and bring a sack lunch and drink. Donations will be appreciated. Call 326-5511 for more information.
9:30am-2:00pm-Tale of Two Cities Disc Golf Tournament Grand View Park, Encampment
Tourney held on our 27 hole course, with divisions for Men and Women. Registration includes t-shirt, lunch, and lots of fun!

Featuring "MountainUs" a five-member band that fuses root Reggae with modern Jazz and Rock. Bring a lawn chair and your friends for this free concert.

4:00pm-9:00pm-Saratoga Reunion & BBQ at Veterans Island Park
Bring a lawn chair and the kids-- enjoy the afternoon visiting with old friends and new neighbors and sing some karoke! Free swimming at the pool from 4-8 pm
3:00pm-6:00pm Farmer's Market and Craft Fair Saratoga Museum
Held every Wednesday until October, this market features fruit and vegetables from the Boykin?s orchard in Colorado as well as local artists and other hand crafted goodies. There are also food trucks, so bring the entire family for dinner!
Thursday, July 4
6:00am-10:00am-Free Pancake Breakfast at fire station on Spring Street
Donations will be appreciated by the Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department as they are raising funds for new equipment.
11:00am-Parade
Dozens of fun floats travel along the highway in downtown Saratoga. The route begins at the south end of town on Walnut Street and continues to Bridge Street and then turns east. If you would like to enter the parade, line-up begins at 10:30 and you must call the American Legion Post #54 at 307-326-9600 by July 3 to participate.

Old Fashioned Bake Auction
Live auction of homemade pies, cakes, cookies, bread and other goodies on the corner of Bridge Street downtown. Proceeds go to the Platte Valley Kiwanis Club for their community projects!
12:00pm-2:30pm- BBQ by American Legion Post #54 Veterans Island
American Legion will be serving a BBQ by donation. Funds raised will benefit Tyler Pickett Park project.
Hunting Trip Raffle Announced
American Legion will draw winners for their raffle. Tickets are available at American Legion Post. Proceeds will benefit Tyler Pickett Park.
1:00pm-Corn Hole Tournament at Firewater Public House
Gather your buddies and enter this fun tourney. $20 per team with a chance to win some nice greenbacks. The Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department will be keeping half of the proceeds. Register until noon at the pancake breakfast at the fire station.
1:00pm-2:30pm-Kids Art Experience Veterans Island Park
Free interactive art workshop for elementary-aged children. Glitter, paint, cut, glue, sculpt and create! Workshop is sponsored by the Platte Valley Arts Council. Be sure to take your finished pieces home with you!
around 9:00pm-Fireworks
Fireworks will be launched in Saratoga courtesy of the Old Baldy Club. One of the best places to watch them is from Kathy Glode Park on Constitution Ave. The Town of Encampment sponsors the fireworks launched from McClure Field in Encampment.
